Dr. Kowal, German Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist

Dr. Gregor Kowal is a German Board-Certified Senior Consultant Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist with many years of experience in mental health and family medicine. He studied medicine at the Ruprecht-Karls-University in Heidelberg, Germany’s oldest and one of its most respected universities, where he earned both medical degree (MD) and doctoral degree (PhD).

After completing further training in psychiatry, psychotherapy, and internal medicine, Dr. Kowal worked as Head of Department and later as Medical Director in psychiatric hospitals across Germany. These roles allowed him not only to care for patients but also to guide and train young doctors and psychologists.

Dr.Kowal is experianced in a broad range of areas, with special focus on biological psychiatry, psychoanalytical psychotherapy, and family medicine. His therapeutic approach is based on understanding each patient as an individual, with compassion and respect at the center of treatment.

Since 2010, Dr. Kowal has been leading the Clinic for Health and Medical Care (CHMC) in Dubai. Under his guidance, CHMC has grown into one of the leading mental health centers in the UAE, providing high-quality, professional, and compassionate care for people seeking help with psychiatric and psychological concerns.
